Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations at a designated Seminole Tribe of Florida Senior Center. This includes planning, coordinating, and implementing senior and social service programs that address the needs of the Tribal elder community. The role also involves directing, assigning, and reviewing the work of staff responsible for delivering transportation services, meals, and recreational, cultural, and educational activities for Tribal elders. The Site Manager ensures exceptional service delivery, compliance with organizational policies, and effective supervision of staff and contractors. The incumbent addresses issues promptly and exercises independent judgment within established guidelines. Associate’s degree is required. Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Human Services, Gerontology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of successful experience managing and/or supervising elderly programs, adult services, community programs or working in similar area is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience may be considered. Demonstrated ability to create, implement, and oversee adult programs, including social, health, and recreational service. Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments. The individual must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
