Job Description
The Youth Group Home Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Youth Group Home, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality services and adherence to Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures. The incumbent oversees the daily care, supervision, and safety of male and female youth residents, during both daytime and overnight shifts, fostering a safe environment that meets their basic physical and emotional needs in accordance with established rules and policies. The incumbent ensures compliance with house rules and regulations and supports routine operational and housekeeping functions. High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required. A minimum of three (3) years of experience working behavioral health, family systems work, community-based services, or a similar field supervising and/or monitoring youth is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Completed Red Cross First Aid Training and a current CPR Certification is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Availability and willingness to work a wide array of hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays is required.
