Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing compassionate direct personal care to patients in their homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role supports patients with daily living activities, ensures comfort and safety, and assists with maintaining dignity and independence. High School diploma or equivalent GED is required. Graduation from accredited Nursing Assistant program is required. Possession of a current and valid State of Florida’s Certified Nursing Assistant License is required. A minimum of one (1) year of CNA experience working in home health, long-term care, or similar work environment is preferred. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid Certification preferred. Incumbent must possess a valid Florida Driver’s license. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Demonstrate excellent communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to work independently and travel to all STOF’s Reservations and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
