Job Description
Under general supervision, the incumbent in this position is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance and repair work throughout the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Big Cypress RV Resort & Campground facilities and premises. The individual maintains landscapes and irrigation systems and troubleshoots electrical, plumbing or carpentry problems. This role assists with supervising the work of vendors that perform any maintenance work on the facility grounds. High School diploma or equivalent GED is required. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds and facilities responsibilities is required. Vocational/technical training in maintenance/ mechanical repair or any combination of training and experience will be considered. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to travel to and from Seminole Reservation(s) and to work a flexible schedule including, weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.
