Job Description

The incumbent supports the Integrative Health Department’s interdisciplinary team by contributing to the assessment, evaluation, and recommendation of rehabilitation disciplines, programs, and operational processes across services serving both youth and adult populations, including physical therapy (PT), massage therapy (LMT), occupational therapy (OT), and speech-language pathology (SLP). The individual ensures Tribal-wide compliance with STOF policies, state and federal regulations, including Medicare and accreditation requirements and standards in order to meet compliance requirements and have adequate space, equipment, and supplies, this position contributes significantly to the delivery of excellent patient care. This role is instrumental in maintaining high standards of care across multiple service sites, and acts as a resource and mentor, providing clinical guidance as requested and supporting contract rehabilitation staff primarily on the adult side. Doctoral Degree or Master’s Degree in Health Rehabilitation related field (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Rehabilitation Science) is required. Several years of hands-on experience as a licensed therapist, with a minimum of ten (10) years of inpatient and/or outpatient hospital directorship or equivalent leadership experience required, including oversight of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology services. Prior experience with accreditation processes and Health program management are required. Current and active licensures such as Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapist is required. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; however, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
