Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting the Community Culture staff in a variety of administrative and clerical matters. Greets visitors, answers the telephones and responds to questions regarding services provided; drafts, gathers and organizes materials and/or communicational brochures; performs data entry in the system; maintains files and databases and requests and/or processes payments and reimbursements. The incumbent is familiar with all services provided by the Community Culture department and its operation. High School diploma or GED equivalent is required. Familiarity with accounting systems is required. Demonstrate excellent computer skills utilizing Microsoft Software packages. Demonstrate ability to work within diverse groups. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel and to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
