Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting the Dental Care Team (Dentist, Dental Hygienist, Dental Assistant etc.) by proactively managing and coordinating dental care for patients. The individual serves as the primary liaison between dental providers and patients; provides advocacy, information and referral services to patients and families to address their dental needs. The incumbent coordinates and processes new patient registrations in accordance with eligibility guidelines. The incumbent in this position is responsible for maintaining and ensuring patients’ dental and medical files are current, complete and properly arranged for easy retrieval within the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Dental Department. The individual organizes notes, x-rays, test results, etc. to scan electronically into Electronic Health Records (EHR).
